Jag har hittat en tråd om mitt problem, tydligen är det välkänt hos ASUS.

Det finns en kille som verkar ha hittat lösningen på problemet där han skriver följande:
Can anyone share the firmware/instructions for the continuous DHCP fix for the RT-AC86U?
I had the "ISP's DHCP did not function properly" error pop up very late on Friday night with my RT-AC67U twin pack running in AiMesh mode.
Aussie Broadband – FTTN with a Draytek Vigor130 in bridged mode.
I've been running this setup for a few months without this issue arising. Prior to that I was using an RT-AC86U for around a year without issue (same modem, same ISP).
I changed the 'DHCP query frequency' setting between Aggressive and Normal modes but this was to no avail. With the household demanding internet, I swapped over to a backup Technicolor modem/router.
Later I discovered theASUS firmware DHCP "Continuous Mode" potential fix for "ISP's DHCP did not function properly" thread on SNB Forums.
So I thought I'd give it a go. I updated my router to the latest firmware (I didn't factory reset).
Then I telnetted in and set the new DHCP query frequency value, committed the change, and rebooted.
Success.
My router is still running with 'dhcpc_mode=2' and I can see that 'udhcpc' is running with the parameters as stated in SNB Forums -
/sbin/udhcpc -i eth0 -p /var/run/udhcpc0.pid -s /tmp/udhcpc -t1 -T5 -A0 -O33 -O249
I did pop off a PM on Saturday morning to Jack Cheng, but I've had no response (he has been on Whirlpool since, latest being today).
Däremot förstår jag inte alls vad han menar med följande:
