Vista "boot.ini" problem

Skrev detta i ett engelskt forum.. någon vänlig själ som kan hjälpa mig?

Ok so i tried to find a boot.ini to change the order in which many of my systems boots up..

I couldn't find a boot.ini so i tried checking my boot.ini in the windows xp system and it said

Warning: Use BCDEDIT.exe to modify Windows Vista boot options...

The problem is when i try to open it or even with the option "Run as administrator" i just see how the commandprompt opens and closes real fast.. i cant access this BCDEDIT thing.. whats wrong?

If i try to run it with the commandprompt it says The boot configuration data store could not be opened. Access is denied.. what do to :(?
