Other than different feature sets , what distinguishes ADATA from other manufacturers like Corsair, Kingston or Intel in the SSD market?

Not that much to add for the first part - thx Miro!
But we should let you guys also know that we come and are still very sucessful in the OEM sector where you can only survive offering best quality and reliability. And this is exactly what we also offer to the end-users out there with the ADATA products.

For the second part I have to admit that we have to be very careful when talking about our future plans - competition is always listening

On the other side you can be sure that we will expand our current product lines by a variety of new products in the next weeks (4 planned new product launches in September)

I got a year old SP900 128GB with approximately 20GB free space. The last month I have experienced that the SSD has become slower and slower. (I haven’t benchmarked the SSD but there wouldn’t be any problem to measure the difference.)

Do you have any tips or software that may improve the performance, or is this an effect of the SSD becoming older.

How did you experience the drive getting slower and which FW are you actually running on?

Some earlier versions than FW 5.0.7a had some issues with TRIM which might cause some slowing down which in fact will not slow down as much that you feel moved back to "old HDD days"

What do ADATA stand for and how do you properly say it?

Are you guys (and girls) going to stick to memory modules and ssd's or is there any other in planing? you don't have to say what kind of stuff what's in the boardroom but new clean looking cases without any bling and good quality psu's whould be great. When making a psu i whould like to se a switch with 4 functions. auto/5v 7v 12v i guess you catch the drift what i'm talking about.

Actually ADATA is offering products in 6 different product groups which are USB Flash Drives, External Storage (HDD/SSD), Memory Cards, SSDs, DRAM Modules and Wireless Devices. For a complete overview please visit the ADATA Homepage .

We are "Memory Specialists" and the memory business can absolutely not be compared to almost any other component-business out there. Other vendors/manufacturers are focused on Cases and/or PSUs and I believe that for us in this moment it would be pretty tough to enter a complete new market like the ones you mentioned.

I personally think that you better stick to what you do best, optimize and push forward as there are always new technologies coming quickly, especially in the memory business (e.g. new NGFF PCIe SSD, Wireless Storage, etc.), which need our full attention and manpower.

In short: We do not have plans for any cases or PSUs in the near future
