Datorn fryser

Hej,

Jag har problem med att datorn fryser efter en stunds spelande. Standard bios inställningar, memtest86 utan anmärkning, bra temp. Kan även påpeka att jag har olika minnen, ett par i DIMM A samt ett annat i DIMM B, men de har samma timings så de bör fungera. Vad kan vara fel?

På vilket sätt fryser den? Fastnar den på samma bild? Försvinner bilden? Stängs hela datorn av eller startar om? Hakar den upp sig på att spela samma ljud?

Gör en fullständigt BIOS-återställning, antingen via "Clear CMOS"-knappen om ditt moderkort har en sådan eller genom att plocka bort batteriet i några minuter. Datorn ska givetvis vara urkopplad från eluttaget under processen.

Skulle rekommendera att du provar att köra med Bara 2 Hynix-minne eller 2 Samsung-minnen och se om det fortsätter att frysa. Dvs, endast ett par i slot 1 och 3.
Fungerar båda paren separat så kan du prova att ha ena paret i slot 1 och 3, och andra paret i slot 2 och 4.
Fryser det igen, prova byt plats på paren, fortsätter det att frysa så är paren inkompatibla även om de är "nästan identiska på pappret".

Ja, jag har misstänkt minnena eftersom problemen började dyka upp då jag tillsatte de andra stickorna. Kan det ha med några inställningar att göra eller de är helt enkelt inte kompatibla? Jag ska även prova med en av stickorna i varje slot för att utesluta problem, har även nu återställt bios.

Det kan väl definitivt ha med inställning att göra om det handlar om någon timing. Men är det inte större sannolikhet att det är fel på en av de nya stickorna som han satt i datorn än att minnena är 'inkompatibla' med varandra?

Hade exakt samma problem för några år sedan. Problemen upphörde när jag bytte Ramminne.
Fick aldrig fel när jag testade minnen med diverse program.

Problemet med minnestester är att de inte värmer upp minnet på samma sätt som ett grafikkort gör när det blåser sin varmluft över minnet. Det är därför vanligt att minnet kan verka vara helt stabilt i alla minnestester men inte klarar mer än några minuter i spel, då grafikkortet hettar upp det.

Ett sätt att testa detta är att rikta en hårtork (EJ VÄRMEPISTOL) mot minnet när man kör ett minnestest. Luften från en hårtork är ungefär så varm som man i värsta fall skulle stöta på i en dator i en realistisk situation.
